Starter Black Label x SneakersBR – 10th Anniversary

Brazil recently launched a strategic collaboration that will truly put Starter Black Label on the map – We have partnered with SneakersBR, the largest Brazilian sneaker and culture curators, to celebrate their 10th anniversary with a capsule collection of 45 pieces inspired by 90’s style and nautical gear. The elevated athleisure line, titled “SBR Challenger Club,” references a vintage crewneck sweater found in Starter’s lauded archive. SneakersBR is considered one of the global references in new fashion trends, heavily used by Nike, Adidas, and many others.

The British Have Landed! Lee Cooper Launches in Brazil


THE BRITISH HAVE LANDED. On April 3rd, THE COOPER COLLECTION (TCC) By Lee Cooper officially launched with Sergio K. in São Paulo, Brazil with over 275 guests in attendance, including journalists, influencers and consumers.


The launch event was hosted in Casa Jereissati, one of the most desired spots for events in São Paulo, only available to big names such as Cartier, Credit Suisse, and Gisele Bundchen. The entire event was available via live streams, and greatly covered by journalists and influencers across all social media platforms, including GQ Brasil, André Aloi, Matheus Evangelista, Paulo Mamedes, DJ Pietra Bertolazzi, Marcelo Sommer, and Belutti.



Sergio K. is a reference of fashion in Brazil. Sergio started his career in his 20’s, and now in his 30’s, he is known and respected as one of the most important influencers and trend setters among young men looking for a cool, urban and sophisticated look. Sergio K. stores are present in the best shopping spots in Brazil (14 total) and starting this month, TCC will be placed in the top four stores with most visibility in the city of São Paulo, with the addition of e-commerce.

Starter Featured in Popular Online TV Drama – “Gamer’s Generation”

Starter was able to secure product placement in a popular online TV Drama in China called “Gamer’s Generation” (电竞纪元). Set in the future where VR eSports has become a reality, a headstrong college freshman at the highly competitive eSports Academy assembles an unlikely team of outcasts to take on the Academy’s elite Team 1 in the school’s annual campus championship.

It is currently available on Tencent’s video channel and has accrued more than 300 million views since it was first aired (January – March 2017). Starter appears in 4 out of the total 12 episodes.

Shinsegae Int’l Launches First Starter Black Label SIS Store

In September 2016, our Starter Black Label partner in Korea, Shinsegae International, launched their fashion line via various multi-branded stores both online and offline. Just one month later, they were able to open a beautiful mono-branded shop-in-shop in the Shinsegae Department Store (Gyeonggi Branch) along with some great marketing activations. (more…)
